Senior Advisor – Dr. Richard Frazer
Dr. Richard Frazer is from South Fork, PA. Graduating from South Fork Croyle High School in 1951. Dr. Frazer has a BS from California University of Pa , a Masters in Special Education from Indiana University (IUP), Indiana, Pa and in 1988 he received his doctorate from Nova University in Educational Administration.
He served 3 years active duty in the US Army with action in Korea. His military career continued for 26 years in reserve status and retired in 1983 as 1st Sgt. Co. B 103rd Armor.
He is a lifetime volunteer fireman serving as assistant fire chief and also for 35 years as a Forest Fire Warden.
He taught school from 1959 to 1976; was a supervisor for IU08 from 1976 – 1983; Director of Special Education IU08 1983 – 1990.
He currently sits on the South Fork Borough as President and has been a member for 40 years. For over 30 years he has been the chairperson of Human Rights Committee at the Ebensburg Center.
He has held numerous positions and headed up several committees at 1st United Methodist Church in South Fork,Pa. He was lay leader and worship leader for numerous years.
Richard is married to the former Bonnie Wise and has 5 grown children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He has been involved with the Lucas Foundation since its inception.
Richard is a master craftsman, a model train collector and avid golfer. He hunts, fishes and enjoys time spent on his boat..
